NOTARY4U American Notarization Online

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains what information reaches us when you request a notarization, what it is used for, and how long it is kept. It applies to this site and to the notarial service arranged through it.

Information you provide

Two kinds of information reach us. The first is contact information you supply when requesting an appointment: your name, email address and telephone number. The second is the document you send for notarization, together with the identification presented during the session.

How it is used

The information is used solely to provide the service: reviewing the document before the session, scheduling and conducting the video meeting, verifying identity as the law requires, and returning the completed instrument to you. It is not used for marketing and is not sold.

Retention and deletion

A notary is required to keep a record of each notarial act, including the audiovisual recording of the session, for the period prescribed by the commissioning state. Material beyond that record, including copies of documents held for convenience, is deleted at your request.

Disclosure to others

Information is disclosed only where disclosure is necessary to perform the service, namely to the commissioned notary conducting the act and to the secure platform on which the session takes place, or where disclosure is required by law or by a competent authority.

Cookies

This site uses basic cookies that allow it to function and to measure aggregate usage. They are set only after you accept the notice shown on your first visit, and your choice is stored on your own device.

Questions

Questions about this policy, or a request to delete material held about you, may be sent through the appointment request on the home page.
